Alphaphot
The Alphaphot was part of a wave of new product launches circa early 1980’s to accommodate the newest CF optical technology, which for the first time truly eliminated chromatic aberration. This generation of microscope boasted an exceptionally durable design and incorporated these new CF optics for the first time in to a student classroom microscope. It was also one of the first microscopes to boast a design resistant to mold formation on the internal elements of the scope, something that had been plaguing microscope operators in humid warm climates for decades.
