최근에 SET asylum에서 ML2 앰프에 대한 논쟁 중에 한사람이 A7에 대해 늘어놓은 악담 입니다. 저는 A7을 사용해 본 적도 없기 때문에 사실인지는 모르나 동축형을 사용해 본 경험으로 일부는 일리가 있는 것 같습니다. 악담이지만 꺼꾸로 이 문제를 잘 이해하고 대처한다면 보다 좋은 소리를 맹그는데 도움이 되지 않을까 해서 옮겼습니다.

When you auditioned your tacky 300B on the stock A7
then what kind mechanism did you used to tune yourself out from the following:
1) Slow, boring and painfully mellow sound of whatever more then 600Hz
(courtesy to the Altec compression drivers)
2) Tonal mismatch between the tweeter and direct radiation upper bass
(courtesy to the Altec bass too shallow horn)
3) Total screwing of mono imaging and complete disability to maintain the
stereo imaging (courtesy to the Altec rectangular horns and some other reasons)
4) Wickedly painful honk (courtesy to the Altec “wonderful” tweeter horns)
5) Metal ringing at 6-8 KHz (courtesy to the Altec tweeter horns material)
6) Absents of any HF (courtesy to the Altec 8**/9** tweeters that even with
aluminum diaphragms do not go effectively over 13000kHz)
7) Total absents of a lowest octave. (It never was meant to do it.)
8) Strong devastation of the lover harmonics of the upper bass notes
(courtesy to the garbage that A7 threw out from the back loaded port)
9) Absolutely wrong midbass under 200Hz (A7 are damn ported speakers
with all it’s consequences)
